ApprovalBase

Fast-growing teams were losing money the same way — approval requests buried in Slack, purchases made before finance had a chance to react, and no single place to see what was actually being spent. ApprovalBase needed a brand and web presence that made a complex problem feel immediately solved. We built a clean, confident product site that communicates control without feeling restrictive — the kind of design that makes a CFO trust it before they even read the copy.
ApprovalBase needed to feel trustworthy without feeling corporate — the kind of brand a CFO respects and a founder actually wants to use. We built an identity anchored in restraint: a monochrome palette that signals precision, clean editorial typography that communicates clarity over complexity, and a radial mark that implies structure and visibility without saying either word out loud. The photography direction followed the same logic — cinematic, human, unhurried. A brand that earns authority by never needing to announce it.
